Account Manager, Retirement Plan Administration

The Account Manager, Retirement Plan Administration will serve as administrative processor for complex retirement plans and assist clients by providing administrative and compliance services for employer sponsored retirement plans. These services are provided to clients that establish employer sponsored retirement plans funded by Ohio National’s insurance and/or annuity products for a fee.

The person in this role must be familiar with and capable of interpreting retirement plan documents and product contract provisions to ensure plan operation is processed within the confines of each. This individual must be able to recognize potential challenges and initiate action to resolve them appropriately or refer the challenges to the appropriate person.


  • A bachelor’s degree in business or accounting is preferred
  • A minimum of six years of experience in retirement plan administration
  • LOMA ACS designation
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical ability to allow for resolution of problems
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and good judgment

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This position requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
