NQDC Client Service Manager

We have a great working environment with flexible hours, a 37.5-hour work week, and 17 paid days off per year in addition to regular holidays. Business casual dress M-TH, Casual dress Friday. 401(k) participation is immediate at the next month; full medical and dental coverage are provided through a Cafeteria 125/Flex plan.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will be responsible for the ongoing plan administration services provided to an assigned caseload of our clients’ Nonqualified (NQDC) executive retirement plans. Our Executive Benefit Services department is responsible for performing the daily activities for the plans, as well as answering inquiries and generally ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. The chosen candidate(s) would be expected to develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of executive retirement plans, the investment products we offer and our recordkeeping system, as well as all internal and external procedures necessary to administer the plans with various design models.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

CLIENT MANAGEMENT

  • Serve as primary Client Service Manager for assigned caseload of Nonqualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) Plan clients
  • Produce and deliver accurate client quarterly valuations in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with team and Executive Benefits Specialists to ensure all plan  activities are performed within a timely manner, including: Contributions, Transfers, Distributions, Annual Enrollment, etc.
  • Fulfillment of enrollment material requests
  • Provide training to new and existing employees as needed
  • Daily Asset/Liability reconciliation
  • Resolution of account imbalances with the trading partner in a timely fashion
  • Courteous and timely response to plan sponsor and participant inquiries
  • Assist with projects or duties from outside departments as needed
  • Generate, print and send client quarterly valuation reports

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance or business-related field preferred or equivalent in relevant experience
  • Experience in Nonqualified Deferred Compensation (NQDC) Plan administration and 409A Regulations  
  • Strong Microsoft Word & Excel experience, and the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Great communication skills
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, Self-starter, Entrepreneurial, Motivated
  • Good sense of humor is a definite requirement

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in the following software programs: Relius Administration, Crystal Reports.
  • Knowledge of day-to-day retirement plan administration practices, and familiarity with mutual funds and other investment products.
