American National is seeking to hire a Senior Plan Administrator to
join our team!
Essential Functions and Duties:
Responsible for completing annual valuation, such as; determining eligibility, reconciliation of salary deferral contributions, calculation / allocations of employer
contributions / forfeitures, performing nondiscrimination testing and complete annual government filing.
Maintain communication with agents and plan sponsors regarding the administration of the plan, which includes and not limited too; explaining
plan document provisions (eligibility and employer contribution calculations) nondiscrimination testing results, web/vru and contract fees.
Retain current knowledge of pension administration software which includes following department
Research IRS / DOL regulations to resolve issues.
Resolve distribution/contribution trading issues.
4 or more years in pension administration
Able to multi-task and work in a team oriented environment.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Sound mathematical background and computer skills.
Member of the American Society of
Pension, Professionals, and Actuaries (ASPPA) is preferred.
Able to work under pressure to assure that tasks are completed accurately and timely.
