We are looking for an individual who has current experience independently managing an assigned group of plans. Managing your assigned group of plans would include: census scrub, plan design, consulting,
discrimination testing, contribution allocation, asset reconciliation, preparation of the annual valuation for the client and the Form 5500.
We are a CPA firm 45 minutes north of Atlanta with an established but quickly expanding TPA services
section. Our compensation and benefits package is one of the strongest in the market.
In addition to the standard retirement plan administration duties a Senior Plan Administrator will be
responsible for the following:
Effectively communicate the necessary regulatory information and testing requirements to clients in a way that can be easily understood by individuals who are not in the business.
Must be able to perform
nondiscrimination testing and review the results for accuracy.
Participate in plan design meetings w/clients.
Establish (new clients) or maintain (existing clients) the legal plan documents in order to ensure plan compliance.
Participate in continuing education from ASPPA programs and complete ASPPA certifications at no cost to you.
Provide client support and customer service on day-to-day issues with sponsors and participants.
Work with and educate
(if needed) the plan sponsor to ensure they fully understand their role and responsibility.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, experience and
3-5 years previous retirement plan administration experience minimum required, with more experience preferred.
Compensation is based on experience.
Knowledge, skills and
Customer service skills including the ability to manage client expectations and provide superior follow-up service.
Working knowledge and understanding of retirement plan administration and associated regulations
and IRS tax rules.
The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, to think and make decisions quickly while maintaining accuracy.
Strong organizational skills.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook are required
Experience using ACS retirement plan software is preferred, however not a requirement
