Employee Fiduciary is
currently seeking an ERISA Compliance Consultant for our ERISA Compliance & Consulting (ECC) department. ECC provides legal compliance services to Employee Fiduciary clients. This position is located in our Mobile, AL or Saint Petersburg, FL office and
it reports to the Director, ERISA Compliance & Consulting.

Essential Functions: (must be able to perform
these functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation).
Review nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500s, plan document amendments completed by team members
Prepare nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500s, and plan document
amendments for assigned clients
Learn and maintain ability to prepare plan documents, amendments, notices and SPDs for new business clients
Learn and maintain ability to review QDRO’s and determine the award to alternate payee
Mentor and develop department staff by providing ERISA technical guidance and review feedback
Respond to escalated ERISA technical questions asked by plan sponsors or administrators
Maintain an expert knowledge of qualified plan
Develop an expert knowledge of Ft William applications and tools used to complete nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500s and plan documents
Complete ERISA consulting projects as assigned
Contribute to team effort by
accomplishing other duties as needed
Follow policies and procedures set forth by the company

A strong proficiency in the use Microsoft Office software, particularly in Excel
Ability to develop and maintain a strong proficiency in the use of Relius, Ft William and Pension Pal software and the ability to train others on

Experience and Education Requirements:
Accounting or finance degree preferred. Five or more
years ERISA compliance related work experience and accounting classes may be substituted for degree. ASPPA QKA designation required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Prior experience with Relius Administration and Ft William or similar
software is a plus.
