Senior Plan Consultant

Retirement Planning Services, Inc.

in Greenwood Village, CO / Telecommute

The Senior Plan Consultant will be responsible for managing the compliance and administration work required of 401(k), profit sharing and cash balance plans, and delivering the results to clients in a professional manner.  The Senior Plan Consultant must have years of demonstrated experience in the retirement industry, and have proven efficiencies in the requirements of qualified plan administration.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and advisors
  • Performing and reviewing the compliance work for qualified plans, including ADP / ACP testing, general nondiscrimination testing, cross-testing, defined benefit restrictions analysis, deductibility analysis
  • Ensuring all assigned plans meet client set and regulatory deadlines
  • Consulting with clients and advisors to resolve issues
  • Completing and reviewing the government forms required of qualified defined contribution and defined benefit plans
  • Assigning tasks to support team and verifying accuracy of support team’s work
  • Managing all administration tasks for the assigned plans, including: testing, distributions, refunds, government filings, notices, disclosures, and plan documents
