A leading actuarial and pension administration firm in the Pittsburgh area is seeking an Enrolled Actuary who will participate in a team
that provides actuarial, administrative and consulting services directly to the firm's defined benefit clients.
Ideal candidate requirements:
Minimum 8 years of experience in the pension consulting industry.
Experience with defined benefit plans, cross-tested combo DB/401(k) PS plans and cash balance plans, including non-discrimination testing.
Experience with defined contribution plans (preferred but not required).
Experience with Relius software (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of different tax entities ad well-versed regarding pension tax deductibility rules.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparation and peer-review of actuarial valuations, non-discrimination tests and special studies.
Preparation and peer-review of client
communications, benefit calculations/distributions and IRS/PBGC forms and filings.
Development of proposals for potential clients.
Assistance with initial and on-going plan design.
Providing timely responses to internal and
Management of a diverse caseload of clients.
