Newport Group has a great opportunity for a Manager, Client Services. The Manager, Client Services will be responsible for coaching and mentoring of assigned Client
Service Associates, as well as any other Associates that may require assistance. Contribute to performance evaluations for assigned staff and maintain harmonious employee / employer relations. Establish a working environment that motivates, educates and
promotes success, while at the same time enforce the policies and tools to correct less than expected performance.
In addition, s/he will work with team members and senior management to investigate and resolve client issues. Help with escalated calls
as required. Provide input to develop processes and procedures that ensure optimum productivity for required activity. Contribute to the development, updating, and enhancement of materials and programs associated with the area of responsibility activity.
Report status of all projects to senior management and work with them to identify problems and improve efficiencies relative to areas of responsibility. Assist the sales team by joining in strategic selling calls and participating in finals presentations,
either on-site at a Newport location or client facility. Work with internal support groups including SSG, Operations, OSSU and Compliance to promote continued integration and act as SME for various projects as
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
5-7 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a team environment
5+ years’ experience
in a related financial institution environment
Knowledge of mutual funds and investments preferred
Strong analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, excellent organization skills ability to mentor and lead
