Pension Administrator

Ongoing education and training provides our firm with a very knowledgeable, creative, and competent staff with the skills enable them to be very responsive to our clients' needs.

Principal Accountabilities Include

  • Maintain assigned client base with limited supervision
  • Perform complete annual administration from data collection to 5500 filing
  • Review and interpret Plan Documents
  • Perform Contribution Calculations and Nondiscrimination Testing
  • Review asset statements / audit investment activity / perform trust accounting

Required Skills

  • Self-Motivated / Organized
  • Minimum two years of pension administration experience
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet various deadlines
  • Ability to work long hours during busy season
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong client service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Solid understanding of Pension Law relating to 401(k) and other DC plans
  • Knowledge of FT Williams software preferred
  • Knowledge of Pension Pro software preferred
