Relationship Manager - Firm Relations

Assist the Firm Relations team in proactively managing Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) relationships with our distribution partners in such a manner that our service, pipeline and sales activity with the firms are maximized. Partner with the Firm Relations Team by providing communication and problem resolution to our distribution partners; provide assistance to various PFG Sales team personnel so as to maximize and leverage activities of the partner relationships.


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required with a minimum of 3 years experience with retirement products.
  • Must have business unit and company product knowledge.
  • Must maintain a good understanding of investments, products and services.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, analytical and oral and written communication skills required.
  • Must be efficient and able to handle multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Must be assertive.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel and PowerPoint) required.
  • 50 - 60% travel required.


  • Knowledgeable in Corporate Retirement plans
  • Experience working with Advisors and Third Party Administrators at the Corporate Retirement Plan level
