Proactively targets approved partner prospects to establish/maintain business relationships with key decision makers.
Closes new business opportunities through partner relationships and sales presentations.
Conducts informational and training meetings and/or delivers group presentations for partner sales associates
Attends appropriate industry
conferences and seminars to identify and/or contact strategic market prospects as well as following up with those prospects.
Work with partners, identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities within existing partners and network to grow contact
Using company CRM, documents sales calls as well as progress made developing relationships and building connections in the industry.
Partners with marketing to develop sales collateral and provides input on marketing
Demonstrates leadership within the growth team to train and mentor sales consultants on growing partner business.
Leverages the PAi value proposition to overcome prospect challenges and creates solutions that deliver mutually
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing and/or equivalent experience required
Minimum 2 years of retirement industry sales
Ability to travel in order to accomplish assigned responsibilities
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with partner executive level decision makers
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Killer deal-closing instincts
Expert negotiation and persuasion skills
Experience in business development within a service industry
Demonstrated competence in cold calling, advanced networking, relationship development, and
advanced selling skills
Ability to understand moderately complex financial systems and the support staff that maintains them
Frequently required to sit; talk or hear, and use hands to finger,
handle, or touch objects or controls
Regularly required to stand and walk
On occasion, may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders
Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
Vision abilities required include
close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
