Responsibilities:

  1. Client Servicing (35%):

    This responsibility involves processing activity on the Plans. Activity may include but is not limited to:

    A. Processing New Loans

    This responsibility involves reviewing new loan requests for accuracy and completeness. The loan request is also reviewed to ensure it meets all technical requirements and is in accordance with the plan document. Once confirmed, the new loan is processed and established on our system with all necessary supporting documentation.

    B. Posting Distributions

    This involves posting distributions to Schwab RT based on termination paperwork received from the client. Once vesting and dates have been updated, the distribution may be posted. All related trade batches are then submitted to the custodian to trade.

    C. Processing Contributions & Loan repayments through SchARP & SRT\ADT

    This responsibility involves processing contributions received from our clients. ACH requests may need to be initiated. Contribution data is generally received via our SchARP system with certain exceptions. Once the contribution is processed, it must be verified to the information received for accuracy.

    D. Adjustment and Requests

    This involves handling requests from clients or participants related to their accounts.

  2. Reconciling Schwab RT asset holdings to client asset holdings: (15%):

    This responsibility involves printing asset holdings from Schwab RT for each Plan and reconciling it to the holdings report from the client. The holdings report from the client may be in the form of an excel spreadsheet or logging into to the clients trust system and printing asset holdings and transactions. The reconciling is done in an excel spreadsheet and involves reconciling units and cash. All Plan reconcilements must be reviewed and approved by the Chief Operating Officer.

  3. Trade Processing (15%):

    This involves interacting with client \ custodian regarding trade files used in our trade data interchange (TDI) or client system access. The communication of trading activity and resolving any exceptions is included in this responsibility.

  4. Reporting and Statement Production Coordination (10%)

    This entails ensuring that all allocation management reports and participant statements are generated accurately and delivered within Retirement Direct’s service standard.

  5. Compliance (5%)

    This responsibility entails assisting the Client Relationship Administrator (CRA) to ensure that all plans have the appropriate compliance tests performed on a timely basis. The process involves the retrieval of the necessary census data worksheets and questionnaires.

  6. Training (5%):

    This responsibility includes training new personnel on the existing procedures and Schwab RT software application. This responsibility also includes the development of a written procedures manual to assist in the training environment.
