Principal is currently seeking a Relationship Manager to join the Houston team.
As a Relationship Manager, you will be the main point of contact for financial advisors and
retirement plan sponsors located throughout Indiana. Leveraging your retirement plan knowledge and strong communication skills to help advisors and plan sponsors achieve positive outcomes will be essential.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
2+ years work related experience within the retirement plan industry which would include the following type of experience: retirement
plan client relationship management, retirement plan participant education experience, or related corporate retirement plan experience
Active FINRA Series 6, Series 63, RIA, and Life and Health licensing. If you do not have active licensing,
Series 6 and 63 and Life/Health, all must be obtained within 4 months of employment. You will also be required to complete the application for appointment with Princor’s RIA and apply and receive the Investment Advisor Representative approval from
state(s) within 4 months employment.Requirements to be an IAR vary by state, however most states require the Series 65 or 66.
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.
Ability to understand and explain
technical information to a variety of audiences.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, decision-making and multitasking skills are required.
Basic computer skills required.
Must be self-motivated, flexible and be able to use
Must be able to work well independently and in a team environment.
Strong work ethic demonstrated by ability to meet and exceed established goals, and to execute routinely.
Willingness to travel (up to 80%
day travel including some overnight stays of approximately 10%). Territory for this position is throughout Texas.
Corporate Plan Recordkeeping, Administration, Client Services, and Compliance
Experience working with financial professionals, consultants, and clients at the Plan level
Finalist Sales Presentation, Client Presentation, and Participant Education experience preferred
with multiple retirement plan types (Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, ESOP, Non-Qualified, Non Profit)
