Major NYC based health care organization is seeking a Benefits Specialist to administer employee benefits programs on a daily basis. This is a key position requiring a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 3 years employee
benefits experience in order to provide guidance to employees on benefits issues. Knowledge of NY labor laws and regulatory requirements is necessary; PHR a plus.
Specific responsibilities include administering health, dental, life, flexible spending
accounts, commuter benefits, disability and life insurance policies; overseeing annual open enrollments; new hire orientations; FMLA , absences, COBRA and ACA compliance; workers' comp; and wellness programs.
