In collaboration with strategic business partners, the OmniPlus Sr. Project Manager / Business Analyst combines technology innovation with business process excellence to maximize the effectiveness, flexibility
and affordability the employee benefits administration business and supporting the current record keeping system. It coordinates, manages, and directs a team of business, marketing, vendor management office and information technology resources who are
responsible and accountable for implementing changes both process and functional while following the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Business Process Management (BPM) methodology and standards.
Required - BS/BA in Business
Administration, Management Science, Computer Science or a related field WITH the commitment to obtain either the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Business Analysis certification within 2 years OR has 10-years of equivalent professional work
experience in systems implementation with project management, business analyst, and/or software testing and/or coursework WITH the commitment to obtain either the PMP or Business Analysis certification within 2 years.
MBA or Master’s in Management Science, Computer Science or related field, preferred with an Industry certification in at least one field (Project Management, Business Analyst, Business Process Management, Testing), for example PMP from the
Project Management Institute (PMI), CBAP from the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
Preferred - Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation from the International Foundation of Employee
Benefit Plans (IFEBP).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 10-years relevant business analyst, business process management, testing or project management experience,
required and preferably in an employee benefits administration, insurance or related environment.
Experience working within a standard Software Development Life Cycle (SLDC), preferably both Waterfall and Agile.
to successfully manage and deliver large scale technology-related projects on time, within budget and meeting expectations.
Experience managing third party vendors in the successful delivery of system changes including large scale projects,
production support, small enhancements and defect corrections.
Experience working with customers in eliciting and documenting the business case, business requirements, documenting business processes, creating user acceptance test plans, performing
independent testing, and capturing test results.
Negotiating and strategic thinking skills, combined with self-motivation and a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability
to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
