We are looking for a highly motivated inside sales professional with expertise in retention, lead generation and extensive phone communication/cold calling experience. This position is primarily
responsible for two things. The first is renewing, retaining, and handling billing issues on ftwilliam.com software products across all outside sales territories. In addition this position will work with the Sales Consultants to identify new opportunities
in existing accounts as well as prospecting for new customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Renew ftwilliam.com software products across all outside sales territories in the U.S.
Develop a strong
understanding of the retirement plan market, our customers, and their daily workflow.
Prospect and develop new opportunities in existing accounts as well as uncover new potential customers who do not use ftwilliam.com products at all.
Proactively study and learn the FTW products
Learn the information from various internal courses as well as assigned external courses developed by groups such as ASPPA
Maintain and update information in Salesforce.com including
activities and renewal opportunities
Maintain and update a competitive database with information about all of our competitors and their various products
As needed, attend National and Local ASPPA and NIPA tradeshows to provide booth
coverage. This includes learning and executing our Trade Show processes.
Submit timely reports as requested by the Sales Manager and/or Executive Management.
Work from a dedicated private home office.
Contribute ideas and best
practices to other members of the sales team.
Provide fast and thorough follow-up on inquiries from customers and prospects by phone or email.
Work closely with Customer Service and Billing to solve billing/service issues that could
affect the renewal of a subscription.
Support Sales, Business Unit, and corporate goals and objectives.
Perform various ad hoc duties and handle any other assignments as requested by Sales Manager.
Education: Minimum: College Degree is required.
2+ years inside/outside sales experience.
Knowledge of and experience in the Retirement industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organization, planning and presentation skills.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word) and Salesforce.com.
