The territories that
these will be for are:
Upper Midwest – Consisting of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota
West – Consisting of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada,
Idaho, Oregon and Washington
The External Wholesaler Retirement Plans for Advisor Services will be responsible for meeting their assigned sales goals and providing a very high level of
prescribed proactive, ongoing sales activity and regular contact to their Advisor Partners within a defined regional territory.
Sales: Develop and adapt a disciplined sales process to
convert a robust pipeline of prospects into target market clients. Build and retain relationships and help to develop satisfying solutions to clients’ needs. Ensure growth and profitability of existing Advisor Partner relationships by
designing and delivering a strong proactive calling strategy. Comply with relevant policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements. Meet or exceed annualized team sales goal.
Management: Manage, measure, and motivate team
members (internal sales and support staff) responsible for retirement plan product sales and servicing. Monitor internal consultant activity and efficiency.
Interface with other departments for coordination of resources and services to
ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial services and information to potential prospects. Be a “Team Player” in providing answers and assistance with other advisor services group employee questions
Provide input on
advisor services strategic planning.
Marketing: Review products and services offered by our competition and help create a positive competitive response in coordination with Advisor Services Group Manager. Provide input on
marketing, advertising and promotional strategies that will display products and services in a favorable light to our target audiences.
Represent the company at national meetings and conferences (may include making presentations and/or
participating in panel discussions).
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
Willingness to obtain professional designations, such as ASPPA designations and Center for Fiduciary
At least 5 years of related work experience with retirement benefit programs and sales.
