We are looking for an HR Specialist to join our Compensation & Benefits team to administer our firm's retirement (qualified and non-qualified) and stock incentive plans. In this role, you will lead the plan service provider/vendor relationships including auditing service performance requirements. In addition, you will provide outstanding customer service to plan participants as well as internal and external partners in support of these plans.


Retirement plan

  • Plan design, participant communication, financial management and lead compliance activities of the retirement plans
  • Oversee vendor relationship ensuring accurate plan administration
  • Lead plan changes and other projects, collaborating with vendor and internal partners
  • Partner with legal, compliance, audit and any government agency to resolve issues when they arise
  • Build and ensure all participant communications and Summary Plan Descriptions are accurate and updated
  • Stay informed of government requirements, programs and mandates; and analyze impacts on design and administration
  • Lead annual audit activities, resolve escalated employee concerns and respond to participant inquiries

Stock incentive plan

  • Administer awards, build participant communication and perform compliance related activities of privately-held restricted stock
  • Partner with vendor to create communication materials, process awards, analyze equity costs, maintain compliance and generate reporting
  • Lead special projects, including plan changes by working with internal and vendor partners
  • Collaborate with finance, tax, legal, and business partners to anticipate, implement and/or address equity compensation matters
  • Lead monthly reporting and audit activities, respond to inquiries, and resolve any employee concerns
  • Assist finance partners in maintaining the integrity of the employee equity database and ensure accuracy of recordkeeping using Global Shares’ Equity Administration system
  • Ensure and maintain compliance with policies and internal controls
  • Improve processes, efficiencies and accuracy of data


  • 2+ years of experience in retirement and incentive (stock) plans
  • Vendor management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of equivalent work experience
  • Works with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail as well as analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and service orientation
  • Outstanding professional judgment and discretion, and able to function in a highly confidential environment
  • High level of integrity
  • Adeptly handles multiple projects and works under tight timeframes with changing priorities
  • Works independently and as a great teammate
  • Very strong PC skills, including Word, Power Point and Excel, including the use of complex formulas, macros and linking data from multiple systems
