Senior Retirement Plan Documents Specialist

The Senior Plan Documents Specialist prepares retirement plan documents including for more complex/larger plans.
Conducts quality assurance reviews on retirement plan documents prepared by other team members ensuring that all plan document requests are processed according to the company s and the plan sponsors standards. Serves as a resource for internal and external
customers and partners for legal/regulatory matters for Empower's retirement plan documents.
What you will do
- Prepare plan documents, amendments, and summary plan descriptions for new and existing retirement plan
clients
- Prepare plan amendments based on clients' directive
- Input amended document specifications into the internet-based document software program
- Coordinate plan updates in the Empower Administrative System
(EASY)
- Prepare new plan documents by reviewing clients' current plan documents, completing transfer checklists, clarifying amendments and input document specifications
- Provide consultative support to internal and external customers and
partner on complex plan document issues and legal/regulatory matters
- Provide comparison reviews for plan mergers and review of protected benefits
- Review plan documents, checklists, and plan amendments for quality assurance
- Perform
plan document reviews for prospective clients to verify product compatibility
- Act as subject matter expert for document-related enhancement projects
What you will bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
directly related work experience
- Results oriented with ability to effectively multi-task
- Excellent proactive communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of staff, management, internal and external customers, and
partners
- Solid technical knowledge of qualified retirement plans

- Ability to communicate technical concepts and
work in a team environment
