Retirement Plan Installation Coordinator

ERISA Services, Inc.

We are currently seeking a Retirement Plan Installation Coordinator to join our Team. 

This position is not a management or supervisory position.  This position is a telecommute position.  If you are located in the Eastern or Central time zones and you are a team player, enjoy multi-tasking and have the skill sets described below, we look forward to talking with you about our opportunity! 

Position summary:

Manages Plan Installations, Notices, Coordination of Fees and Services Agreements.

General purpose:

Efficiently execute quality Retirement Plan Installations, TPA changes and internal transitions between plan providers.  Responsible for setting up client fees, as well as updates as needed, at each platform.  Also, ensuring service agreements match platform set up and resolving any problems or discrepancies as discovered.  Follow DOL established timelines for required notices: PPA Notices, 404(a)(5) notices and 408(b)(2) notices. 

Role qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in retirement plan administration (plan rules and regulations)
  • Possess above average attention to detail and ability to maintain focus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in and across multiple teams
  • Ability to create and follow multiple detailed timelines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter, problem-solver and excellent work ethics

Position responsibilities:

  • Develop and direct procedures and methods to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained for plan installations and conversions, 408(b)(2) and 404(a)(5) Notices
  • Establish and manage timeline for all plan installations and notices with a sense of urgency
  • Manage all plan installations from document gathering to execution
  • Manage all files related to plan installation and plan takeovers
  • Provide guidance to team based on experience in areas of installations, notices and service agreements
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all company and client information
  • Special projects as requested and other related duties as assigned
  • Follow company policies and procedures

Essential skills and experience:

  • Associate’s degree in, business administration, or related field
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Ability to learn multiple retirement plan software platforms and work in them efficiently
  • Ability to lead people while obtaining desired results
  • Demonstrated ability to think ahead and maintain strict timelines
  • Ability to organize and manage large projects, maintain quality assurance, and efficiency
  • Commitment to company values and work ethics
