Retirement Plan Services Associate – CIRS / New York City

The Cultural Institutions Retirement Systems (“CIRS”) is growing and we need talented, experienced pension plan administration and consulting practitioners who have the ability to step into a client servicing role consisting of making on site client visits to advise plan participants and management on CIRS’ benefit plans, enrollment and recordkeeping activities, provide training and education pertaining to plan participation, and provide the analytical and creative problem-solving skills to effectively administer benefits plans both in terms of their compliance and efficiency in operation.

As a Retirement Plan Services Associate, you will be located in our NYC office, servicing clients in the greater NYC area.

So, What does it Take?

  • Relevant experience within an employee benefits plan administration and advisory role involving both defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans (multiemployer plan experience a plus).
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards governing the administration of these plans to include recordkeeping practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and, particularly, Excel.
  • Creative, analytical problem-solving skills and the initiative to use these skills to enhance the client experience and effectiveness of our business.
