BLG PLLC, a premier employee benefits and compensation boutique, is seeking an experienced attorney to support its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience at a major law firm or in-house legal department advising on qualified plans, fiduciary, and executive compensation matters, and supporting on corporate transactions, including negotiating transaction agreements for benefits and compensation issues. Experience with Sections 409A and 280G is a plus.
Candidate should have skills in drafting plans, compliance amendments, SPDs, and have client-facing experience. An LL.M. in Tax is preferred but not required. Partner-level candidates with portable clients are also encouraged to submit their resumes.
The firm offers health and 401(k) benefits, as well as a cash balance pension plan for eligible partners. Please note that we are not working with search firms at this time.
