PEO-MEP-PEP Relationship Manager

Position Overview:
The PEO-MEP-PEP Relationship Manager will interact daily with clients, accountants, attorneys, investment advisors and other intermediaries serving as the central point of contact for the
assigned portfolio accounts. The Relationship Manager is responsible for ensuring quality client service. The Relationship Manager is ultimately accountable for the clients’ overall satisfaction with Daybright Services.

Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):
- Be a Daybright expert in PEO-MEP-PEP plans, understanding how and who provides various services and how these can be utilized to exceed client expectations.
- Understand the
complexities of the relationship between the PEO and participating employers.
- Ensure that the clients’ operational and regulatory issues are resolved in a manner that exceeds client expectations.
- Help clients understand and comply
with the complex regulations surrounding PEO/MEP/PEP plans, including reporting requirements.
- Work as your clients’ liaison in delivering compliance reports and testing results prepared by skilled members of our highly functionalized
organization.
- Build trust and confidence with key personnel both at the client organization, as well as ancillary service providers (CPA, Investment Advisor, etc.).
- Possess the consulting expertise to guide your clients in complying with
plan documents and ERISA regulations and guidelines.
- Address unique or difficult regulatory and consultative issues and assist clients in preparing plan amendments.
- Research and resolve inquiries from company owners, plan trustees, human
resource, payroll personnel, brokers, and investment advisors.
- Collaborate with internal operational staff to problem-solve and innovate for efficiencies in administering MEPs and PEPs
Experience/Skill
Requirements:
- Required is a thorough understanding of retirement plan regulations, including ERISA, and the differences between MEPs and PEPs.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track
multiple tasks and issues, set goals and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer literacy, including Excel, Word, and Adobe and a basic to intermediate
understanding of Relius Administration system, FTW Document and 5500 systems preferred.
- Experience with third party administration.
- Must be able to work both independently and with direction.
- 7 to 10 years of experience in the
retirement plan service area preferred.
- ASPPA QKA or ERPA designation or approved equivalent preferred.
- College degree preferred.
