Job Purpose
The position will advise an employer or plan sponsor in matters relating to retirement plans, review and analyze retirement plan documents, prepares and manages plan and funding documents
related to retirement. Our ideal candidate would be a Defined Contributions Compliance Consultant with a Bachelor’s Degree, and with a current, active designation as a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified 401(k) Consultant (QKC),
Qualified 401(k) Specialist ((QKS) designations from American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA), has worked a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience as a compliance consultant, and experience working at a Third Party
Administrator (TPA).

Job Responsibilities
- Foster and sustain relationships with designated clients, overseeing the timely completion of annual plan administration or specialized projects within defined scopes of
service,
- Collaborate closely with Plan Sponsors, Record-keepers, Financial Institutions, and Auditors to offer practical solutions, ensuring clients' qualified plans remain compliant and optimized,
- Analyze,
interpret, and provide expert advice on Plan Documents, Amendments, Notices, Summary Plan Descriptions, ensuring clarity and compliance at all stages,
- Manage a minimum of 150 plans, with potential for growth to 200 over time.
- Efficiently
oversee plan management while delivering exceptional customer service to each client,
- Conduct thorough reviews of work completed by external consultants, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards through robust review
processes,
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and effective time management practices,
- Offer consulting expertise on matters concerning IRS and ERISA compliance, providing insightful
guidance to clients to navigate regulatory requirements effectively,
- Adhere to engagement budget constraints and timelines, prioritizing tasks to optimize profitability while delivering high-quality service,
- Support business
growth by contributing to proposal development and facilitating smooth transitions for new clients,
- Oversee or conduct comprehensive Annual Plan Administration tasks, encompassing: Employee data reconciliation.
- Calculations
for contributions and allocations, covering various scenarios such as Employer Match, Safe Harbor, Top Heavy, Profit Sharing, and New Comparability,
- Advanced Compliance Testing, including ADP/ACP, Coverage, and Non- discrimination testing,
with a focus on accuracy and corrective actions when necessary, Preparation and reconciliation of Trust Accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance,
- Generate compliance reports and facilitating governmental filings, such as Forms
5500, 8955-SSA, 5330, 1099-R, 1096, and 945,
- Provide support during audits for large plans,
- Handling corrective contributions and distributions, including filings for VCP and SCP,
- Reviewing and managing
distributions and loans, adhering to regulatory guidelines,
- Document all client communications for future reference and transparency,
- Support other functions related to qualified contribution plans administration, ensuring
seamless operations,
- Expand knowledge base to strengthen expertise in the field,
- Maintain proficiency in systems to optimize client service delivery,
- Set and manage productivity goals for the team, ensuring
alignment with company deadlines and objectives,
- Facilitate timely completion and communication of contribution calculation letters to clients within 30-days,
- Maintain consistent production standards annually, meeting
established benchmarks by December 31st,
- Communicate potential concerns to Team Leader and management promptly,
- Perform Annual Compliance testing to ensure compliance with IRS regulations,
- Review annual
valuations for accuracy, prepared either by ghost consultants, team members, or peers,
- Complete and review Form 5500s accurately and timely before the annual deadline for filing,
- Arrange and attend client meetings to foster
communication and ensure client satisfaction,
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance customer satisfaction and overall service quality,
- Assist Trust Accountants and Data Collections department with client inquiries and
information acquisition,
- Communicate plan issues effectively across departments,
- Address outstanding invoices of 90 days or more during routine interactions with clients,
- Provide technical guidance and direction to
team members as needed,
- Serve as a backup for team members when required,
- Track jobs in the Retirement Plan Administrator system (RPA) to ensure timely completion, Offer recommendations on suitable billing practices,
collaborating with the Company President,
- Low travel, if any; due to COVID-19. We understand the pandemic is over; however, our employee’s safety is our priority – we will make decisions on non- essential travel and monitor the

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or minimum SIX (6) years of specific job experience,
- Minimum SEVEN (7) years of experience working as a
Compliance Consultant or closely related capacity at a Third Party Administrator (TPA),
- While a designation as a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) is preferred, it is not mandatory,
- Extensive client management experience with a proven
history of retention and client satisfaction,
- Advanced knowledge of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA) and related regulations,
- Must have the ability to read and comprehend plan documents,
- Strong
attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, manage tasks and meet deadlines in connection with business operations,
- The ability to clearly and concisely articulate retirement terminology to clients,
- Must possess understanding of
integral part and aspects of Retirement Plans with a special inference on 401(k) or defined contribution plans,
- Team oriented attitude and willingness to help others achieve,
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, composition, spelling and
punctuation,
- Ability to analyze data, determine root cause, and provide and/or develop an appropriate solution for resolution,
- Computer proficiency and a strong command of the Microsoft suite of products,
- Advanced customer service
skills including appropriate business etiquette in all dealings,
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills,
- Willingness to take on new duties and responsibilities as
requested,

Salary Range:
$77K - $81K Bonus: $0 - $5,400
