Processing Team Leader
The Retirement Advantage (TRA, Inc.)

Description:
The Team Leader is responsible for providing guidance and leadership to the Processing team for the purpose of achieving high quality transaction production and exceptional customer
service.
Responsibilities:
- Provides guidance for Transaction Coordinators (TCs) by empowering them with the resources necessary to develop into their role at TRA
- Researches and resolves transaction related issues
as needed
- Processes transactions while maintaining production goals standards
- Reviews procedures as well as day-to-day processes to ensure transactions are processed efficiently and accurately
- Recommends and implements
procedure/process changes to improve efficiency, create process automations and provide consistently exceptional customer service
- Monitors production and quality levels by providing reporting to the Processing Manager
- Closely monitors work
queues to ensure processing timeline metrics are met.
- Coordinates, assists, facilitates, and conducts training of assigned team members as necessary
- Keeps current on procedures, laws, and other facets that may impact
processing
- Communicates effectively with Plan Sponsors, Plan Advisors, Plan Providers, and Internal Office Staff
- Attends all required Leadership training sessions and meetings
- Supports the change process to achieve intended
organization and cultural outcomes
- Leading and/or supporting key projects that seek to enhance existing service and operational models within the communities we touch
- Performs other job-related duties or special projects as
required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of retirement industry experiences
- Supervisory experience in the industry preferred
- Strong verbal and
written communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills, with the ability to track multiple tasks and issues, set goals and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to balance working independently,
being a leader and working in a team environment, all within a fast paced and deadline-oriented business environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of the retirement industry and processing guidelines, regulations, procedures, policies, terminology, and
legal requirements
- Mastery of relevant departmental software and applications
