Sr. Retirement Plan Administrator

firms. We enjoy helping our clients design and manage their retirement plans. As our business has grown over the years, we are excited to expand our team and welcome someone who wishes to grow their career alongside fun and supportive

As a Senior Retirement Plan Administrator, you will:
- Be responsible for the annual administration work on your assigned caseload of plans – review and reconcile census data and trust assets, determine
eligibility, perform nondiscrimination testing, allocate contributions, prepare 5500s, provide audit support, approve distributions and loans, review or draft employee communications, assist in preparing plan amendments or restatements
- Communicate
directly with clients and their recordkeeper, auditor and advisor, providing clear explanations and guidance as their primary day-to-day contact
- Respond timely to questions and requests
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with
clients and their services providers

What
is required of you:
- Proven experience as a retirement plan administrator with a minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive responsibilities
- ASPPA, QKA, QPA, or CEBS credential preferred
- College degree, preferably in
accounting, mathematics, finance, or related field
- Experience with ASC Administration System preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication
skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
- Willingness to stay current and informed on retirement plan regulations
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team
environment
- Ability to attend monthly in-person company meetings in the San Francisco Bay Area

Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary, depending on experience and qualifications
- Annual Bonus
- Paid time off and 10 office holidays
- 401(k) plan with company
contributions
- Exempt position, not eligible for overtime
Work Location/Hours:
- Work from home in the Pacific time zone, but must be available during business hours
- Must work from USA and be authorized
to work for any US employer
- 40-hour work week; negotiable for part-time work
