We are currently seeking a Conversion & Installation Manager to join our Team. 

Position summary:
The Conversion & Installation team manages installation of Start-Up Plans, Takeover Plans and conversion of existing plans transferring to new providers. Manages Plan Installations, Notices, Coordination of Fees, Services Agreements and Platform paperwork.  Works closely with Territory Market Leader, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and Recordkeeping Partners throughout Installation to ensure a smooth and successful process.  This position is not a management or supervisory position. This position is a remote position. General purpose:

Efficiently execute quality Installation of plans for new clients. Ensuring client fee schedules are properly drafted and service agreements are generated and provided to clients. Follows DOL established notice requirements to ensure compliance for clients.

Role qualifications:

  • Must execute plan installation to meet company objectives and deadlines
  • Must partner with client, provider representative and ERISA team to ensure effective plan installation
  • Must develop systems and controls to ensure quality of installation is maintained
  • Must be able to communicate client and provider rapport in the most stressful situations
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality of all documents received and documents accessible to this position
  • Must have worked in a TPA environment
  • Must have worked with multiple record keepers

Position responsibilities:

  • Develops and directs procedures and methods to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained
  • Provides retirement plan expertise in the areas of plan installation, notices and service agreements to all staff members
  • Manages plan installation from document gathering to execution
  • Manages timeline for all plan installations, conversions and notices
  • Manages all files related to plan installation and plan takeovers
  • Special projects as requested and other related duties as assigned

Essential skills and experience:

  • Associate's degree in, business administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in retirement plan administration
  • Leadership: demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a one- to two-month time span
  • Management: ability to organize and manage large projects, quality assurance, and efficiency
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High performance teams and a strong team player
  • Commitment to company values
  • Advanced computer proficiency

Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • MBA

Reporting to this position:

  • No direct reports; however, works directly with Contractor on notices and Relationship Managers with Plan Transitions/Conversions and has control over the installation/conversion process

  • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
