Join EGPS, a leading Third-Party Administrator (TPA) for retirement plans, as a Retirement Plan Consultant (RPC)! We’re looking for a dedicated professional who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment and enjoys problem-solving to ensure compliance and successful plan administration.

About the Role

As a Retirement Plan Consultant, you’ll be responsible for managing and administering a portfolio of retirement plans. Your expertise will help clients navigate compliance requirements, plan design options, and industry best practices. You’ll work closely with financial advisors, plan sponsors, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships and provide top-tier service.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure timely review and delivery of retirement plan administration, including compliance testing, contribution calculations, and government form filings.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to plan sponsors, consulting on plan design and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and CPAs.
  • Partner with recordkeepers to create a seamless client experience.
  • Review and process benefit distributions and other plan transactions promptly.
  • Stay current on industry regulations and best practices to serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Communicate significant issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure consistency and efficiency in plan administration.

What We’re Looking For

  • Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 2-6 years of experience in retirement plan administration.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience interpreting plan documents and understanding related rules and regulations.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving, organization, and collaboration skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication.
    • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
