Transition Specialist

DIETRICH

(Remote / Plymouth Meeting PA / Hybrid)

REPORTS TO:  Executive Vice President

JOB SUMMARY:  This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position, in corporate office with telecommute potential.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the transition process for group annuity purchases to include:  data compilation, formatting, timeline management, necessary documentation and supporting the underwriting process.
  • Manage all aspects of individual annuity placements.
  • Interpretation of pension plan documents to build Bid Specifications packages.
  • Soliciting, reviewing, and presenting insurance company proposals.
  • Coordinate and schedule virtual client meetings, as needed.
  • Maintain adequate documentation in CRM system.
  • Manage projects, as assigned.
  • Function as human resources liaison for Executive Management; track and monitor PTO usage, update Employee Handbook as needed, provide guidance on federal/state/local human resources-related compliance.
  • Maintain and expand working relationship with human resources network.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

Required:

  • Degree in a related field (such as business, accounting, human resources), or a combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, verbal, written).
  • Proven organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365, with emphasis on Excel.

Preferred:

  • Human Resources and Retirement Plan Experience
