Our administrative and compliance services include both defined contribution as well as defined benefit plans. In addition, we offer specialized administrative fiduciary services for plan sponsors looking to offload added plan-related responsibilities.

To continue providing the highest level of quality work and customer service to our clients and referral partners, we’re looking to add an experienced specialist to our on-boarding team!

As the On-Boarding Specialist for M2B, your responsibilities will focus exclusively on the implementation and on-boarding process from post-sale through transition to the administration team. For a qualified candidate, we are offering an exceptional salary package with potential of a sign-on bonus!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple plans in the pipeline at various stages of implementation.
  • Maintain organization and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding or open items.
  • Provide excellent customer service and overall experience throughout the on-boarding process.
  • Serve as the single point of contact, working closely with plan sponsors, advisors, and platform providers to ensure an efficient and smooth transition.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled calls with clients and recordkeeping contacts to ensure timelines are met.
  • Update on-boarding and internal conversion projects, as needed, to simplify the various processes and stay on task.
  • Collect all applicable plan records for on-going administration – including plan documents, prior compliance testing, Government Form filings, and census data.
  • Assist with obtaining access to additional portals as needed – including read-only access to payroll and sponsor-level recordkeeper access for 3(16) fiduciary services.
  • Review plan documents and assist with basic plan provisions inquires.
  • Arrange calls with M2B management and plan sponsor contacts to review plan provisions and provide applicable notes to the Compliance team to aid in plan document drafting/restatement.
  • Provide regular status updates to Management and Sales teams.
  • Work closely with Compliance team to coordinate initial drafting and/or restatement of plan documents.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three to five years of experience in the retirement plan industry (on-boarding and/or new business implementation experience preferred)
  • ASPPA credentials preferred
  • PensionPro experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to change
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently yet effectively work in a team environment
