Company Overview

Forrestall CPAs, LLC, is a leading third-generation CPA firm in the Metro-Atlanta area with over 40 years of focusing on clients’ needs. We are unique in that, in addition to offering typical CPA-related services such as tax compliance, auditing, valuation, etc., we are a fully functioning Third-Party Administrator firm. We are looking for a full-time Retirement Plan Administrator to join our highly experienced and collaborative team here!

Duties:

  • Administer an assigned book of plans to include reviewing and reconciling plan activity and assets and prepare Form 5500
  • Partner with Tax Team on plan design questions/recommendations
  • Prepare all Nondiscrimination testing required (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, etc.)
  • Distribution Reviews
  • RMD Calculations
  • Contribution Corrections
  • Testing Corrections
  • Trust/Contribution Reconciliation
  • Loan Balancing & Review
  • Maintain Plan Compliance
  • Prepare and process participant loans and distributions
  • Assist with and deliver annual participant financial and retirement education

Required Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree is required
  • 2+ years of hands-on Retirement Plan Administration experience is required
  • Exceptional understanding of plan administration, compliance testing and IRS regulations
  • Ability to complete work within required timeframes
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, time management and verbal/written communication
  • Strong client-driven approach with ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • A high degree of self-direction and ability to work in a changing environment
  • Great attitude and a team player
  • Experience with ASC compliance software, ASC DGEM software, Thomson Reuters software, and Microsoft 365 software (including Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred
  • Willingness to attend educational seminars and/or obtain credentials, such as APA, QKA, etc. (if you do not already have) as well as willingness to attend annual ASPPA conference

Work Location and Hours:

This is intended to be an in-person position with the option for hybrid work after working for 6 months. Our general hours are 8-5 M-F, but they fluctuate systematically throughout the year, meaning that we get half days on Fridays for long periods of the year. We are located in Buford, GA (very close to Atlanta).

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a friendly work environment with a lot of flexibility.  This position will earn a salary in the following range, commensurate with experience: $60,000 – $90,000. In addition, we offer:
