Senior Personnel Analyst (Benefit Services)

The Department of Human Resources is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Senior Personnel Analyst to plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise the operations of the Benefit Services Division. This position serves as a working supervisor, responsible for the complex technical administration of health, welfare, and retirement benefits for over 8,000 City of Sacramento employees and retirees.
The Senior Personnel Analyst will lead a team of technical and professional staff and play a key role in the use of the City's PeopleSoft HRIS system to ensure the accurate administration of benefits, including the precise processing of benefit payments and retiree health pension deductions.
