DCS Retire, Inc. (DCS) is a small close-knit company dedicated to providing quality customer service to our clients and an enjoyable work environment for its employees.  We are a full-service actuarial consulting firm providing Third Party Administrative (TPA) services to 401k and Defined Contribution plans, as well as Actuarial Services to Defined Benefit and Cash Balance plans. 

POSITION: 401k & Defined Contribution Plan Manager/Administrator               

TYPE OF JOB: Part Time and Full Time Position Open
LOCATION: in-office Atlanta, GA and/or remote

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Defined Contribution Plan Administration

  • Collect and review census data before importing data into the administration software.
  • Prepare employer contribution allocation calculations
  • Create valuation reports and prepare Form 5500
  • Prepare all Non­discrimination testing required (ADP/ACP, Top Heavy, etc..)
  • Distribution Reviews
  • RMD Calculations
  • Contribution Corrections
  • Testing Corrections
  • Trust/Contribution Reconciliation
  • Loan Balancing & Review
  • Maintain Plan Compliance
  • Prepare and process participant loans and distributions.

Plans could include Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Cash Balance, & Combos.

Prioritize activities and manage time to provide quality client service effectively and efficiently with your assigned book of plans.

Ensure that our commitments to our clients are met by proactively reviewing the status of assigned plans' periodic/daily activity (compliance testing, 5500, quarterly statements, RMDs, etc.)

Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by DCS to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to DCS or our clients.

Provide effective and timely verbal and written communication in a clear, concise, and informative manner to clients and financial advisors.

Maintain and continue to grow detailed knowledge and understanding of retirement plan rules and DCS business practices.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
  • 2-5 years of retirement plan administration or related experience
  • Experience with FTWilliams Systems (Compliance, Plan Documents & 5500) and/or ASC DGEM Software is recommended
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word & Excel
  • Possess strong time management, organizational, problem solving, customer service and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail
