They strive to exceed expectations by forging meaningful connections with financial professionals and their clients, understanding their needs, and providing them with top-notch retirement strategies and solutions to enhance their business. As a member of our Retirement sales team, you will make a difference and leave a lasting impact on the industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Retirement Plan Sales Consultant who will be located remotely in our West Coast region.

What you will do:

  • Pro-actively build and manage relationships with Cetera financial advisors and partners in your territory
  • Build and present feasibility studies and sales proposals to the financial advisors and their clients
  • Educate advisors on each type of plan and make recommendations based on their clients’ needs

What you will have:

  • Expert-level knowledge of the retirement plan industry
  • Understanding of retirement plan design, retirement products, and investments
  • QPFC, QKA or equivalent designation or willingness to attain within 18 months
  • 3 or more years in retirement plan sales
  • Experience in an open-architecture environment a plus
  • Experience working with fee-based RIAs and expert retirement plan advisors a plus
  • Proven record of meeting sales goals

Compensation:

The base annual salary range for this role is $70,000 to $75,000, plus a competitive incentive compensation. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
