ASC is seeking a self-motivated and innovative pension professional to join a support team known for superior customer service. Job location may be telecommuting (home office) or if you prefer, in our Los Angeles, CA office. Benefits include 37.5 hour work week, flexible hours, medical and dental insurance, 401(k) and 125 plans, PTO, Continuing Education/Annual membership dues/Conference attendance, and home office costs.

Your primary role would be to help our many users of the DC/401(k) Valuation System and ASC DGEM 5500 Forms web-based program. This would also include training clients, helping with onboarding new clients and working closely with co-workers and software developers.

Join our team and contribute to:

  • Client Support: Assist clients through phone, email, and online video sessions.
  • Client Training: Conduct web-based training sessions and 1-2 onsite trainings annually.
  • Event Presentations: Host 1-2 webinars annually.
  • Training Materials: Create and update resources like webcasts and webcast handouts, video series, user guides, online Help, and FAQs.
  • Product Enhancements: Collaborate with clients and developers to improve our products.

Knowledge and Skills Needed:

  • Excellent customer service mindset – focused on helping and teaching
  • ASC valuation system experience (2+ years)
  • 5500 filing experience with any web-based system (ASC’s DGEM is a plus)
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Clear communication style
  • Comfort with software and the ability to apply new technology
  • Industry knowledge – professional designations (e.g., ASPPA, NIPA) are valued
  • Patience and a sense of humor are vital for ASC support team employees
