Guideline is seeking a Corporate Counsel, IRS/Retirement to support our Legal and Compliance team.
What will you be working on?
We are looking for an experienced and collaborative attorney to
serve as Corporate Counsel, IRS/Retirement. In this role, you will work closely with the Associate General Counsel in a dynamic and energetic start-up environment. The role will focus primarily on Internal Revenue Code
compliance for IRAs and 401(k)s.
Our ideal candidate is experienced in the retirement plan space. You have a strong background in IRAs and 401(k) plans and can advise and strategize on tax issues as well as general day to day administrative issues. You are a collaborative self-starter who is hands-on and willing to learn new technology in a fast-paced environment.

The Team
You will be a key member of
Guideline’s Legal and Compliance team, which is composed of creative and collaborative compliance professionals and attorneys. This team serves as a strategic advisor to Guideline’s business units, ensuring products and services are
developed in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing risk, monitoring plan operational compliance, and facilitating solutions to complex legal and regulatory issues. This role reports to an Assistant General Counsel.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for equity in the form of Incentive Stock Options (ISOs).

Expected Salary Range
$165,000 - $201,500 USD
