Professional Benefit Services is seeking experienced professionals passionate about advancing their careers in the retirement sector. We help employers establish and manage retirement plans (401(k), 403(b), Cash Balance, and Non-ERISA plans), ensuring that Americans can retire with dignity and peace of mind.

We are hiring for the position of an experienced Retirement Plan Administrator. Please review the job description below, and if you feel like you would be a great addition to our team, respond to this ad with your resume.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (specific degrees such as Finance, Accounting, or Business are advantageous).
  • Self-starter with a keen eye for accuracy and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an unstructured, informal environment. Results-driven mindset.
  • Five to ten years of experience in retirement plan administration.
  • Proficient in interpreting plan documents, plan adoption agreements, and amendments.
  • ASPPA designations such as QKA, QKC, CPC, and NIPA designations are a plus and can lead to increased responsibilities and compensation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct all aspects of year-end testing and administration.
  • Extensive use of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Utilize FTWilliams software for various administrative tasks.
  • Maintain daily client contact via phone and email.
  • Collaborate with co-workers to problem solve and enhance training.
  • Assist less experienced co-workers as part of a team.
  • This is a remote position.

Teamwork and Customer Interaction:

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment, reviewing the work of others and having your work reviewed.
  • Partner with the distribution and documents team to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Communicate with clients and their representatives regarding annual administration, testing, corrections, and related issues via phone and email.
