Pension Administrator

Job Description

The Pension Administrator will be responsible for an assigned block of plans to complete annual testing, asset reconciliations and contribution calculations, and to prepare required IRS filings. This individual will be the main point of contact for this block of business and will be expected to consult with the client on all plan-related matters. While the main emphasis will be on defined contribution plan work, there will also be some valuation/consulting work on defined benefit/cash balance plans.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working on the administration of defined contribution plans
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • QKA credential preferred
  • Experience using Datair and Pension Pro preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be organized and able to work well under pressure to meet multiple deadlines
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to analyze, problem solve, and communicate issues and resolutions with plan sponsors
  • Commitment to delivering excellent and timely customer service
