Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional retirement plan and actuarial consulting services to our clients. The Senior Consultant will work closely with clients to understand their objectives, assess their current retirement plans, and develop customized strategies to optimize their retirement benefits. .

Responsibilities (some not limited to): 

  1. Consult with clients to understand their retirement objectives, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
  2. Analysis of clients' existing retirement plans, including defined benefit, cash balance defined contribution, and other retirement plans.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and present tailored retirement plan solutions and recommendations to clients.
  4. Effectively communicate contribution analysis, plan design changes, etc.
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in retirement plan design.
  6. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted resource for all retirement-related matters.
  7. Identify opportunities for business development and expansion of services, contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
  8. Day to day administration of all retirement plan types (plan document work, loans & distributions, working with investment platforms, filing 5500s, SAR/AFN, 1099s, contribution analysis, top heavy testing, compliance testing, etc.)


  1. Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or other related field. Professional designations a plus.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in retirement plan consulting, actuarial analysis, or related field, with a proven track record of success.
  3. Strong knowledge of retirement plan design, pension regulations, and actuarial principles and methodologies.
  4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound recommendations.
  5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  6. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (Datair, Microsoft Office) including actuarial valuation software, spreadsheet applications, and presentation software.
  7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
