Small TPA Firm

in Remote / NJ

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager to lead our DC/DB Administration Team. You will oversee a team of 10-15 administrators, ensuring efficient workflow management and project completion. While this role does not require you to perform testing, prepare annual plan reports, calculate contributions, or prepare 5500 forms, a general understanding of these tasks is essential. Familiarity with plan take-overs and terminations is also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Oversee the daily workflow of a team of 15-20 administrators.
  • Project Monitoring: Actively monitor projects using workflow software, ensuring timely task completion.
  • Staff Coordination: Liaise between experienced and inexperienced staff, facilitating smooth project transitions from census gathering to 5500 filing.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify and address any delays in project timelines, ensuring that all annual administration projects are completed efficiently.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering DC and DB plans.
  • Knowledge: General understanding of plan take-overs, terminations, and the processes involved in testing, annual plan report preparation, contribution calculations, and 5500 preparation.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and team members simultaneously.

  • Compensation: Starting at $80,000+, top $150,000 commensurate with experience. Room to grow.
  • Perks: Full benefits package and generous vacation time.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring project completion and team efficiency. If you are a proactive leader with a strong background in DC and DB plan administration, we would love to hear from you!

This is a remote employment opportunity, however it will require 2-3 weeks in office training at inception.  Weekly travel and lodging fully covered.
