  • Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Interpret documents and resolve technical problems.
  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week during peak times.

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, Math, or Economics
  • 10+ years’ experience working specifically on ESOP administration including ESOP related compliance testing such as 409(p) testing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ESOP’s and other qualified retirement plans
  • Possess or working towards QPA or QKA certification highly desirable.
  • Experience in ESOP plan review highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and advanced level Excel skills

We offer challenging work, a collaborative culture, a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package and an outstanding opportunity for career growth for the right candidate. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, disability, flexible spending accounts, HSA and 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.

We work hard, but we also have fun. As a Blue Ridge employee, you will be a part of a company that supports charitable activities through fundraising and volunteer work. You'll enjoy quarterly all-hands lunch meetings where we celebrate our successes (and birthdays), and you'll have opportunities to shine by joining one of our committees, or by volunteering for a special project that calls your name.
