M2B Retirement Consulting, located just north of Pittsburgh, PA, provides full-service retirement plan design, consulting, and administration to businesses of all sizes.  Our administrative and compliance services include both defined contribution as well as defined benefit plans.  Additionally, we offer highly specialized ESOP services, a complete suite of 403(b) of services and value-added consulting, administration, and actuarial certification for traditional defined benefit plans, offset plans, and cash balance design.

 

M2B was formed in 2016 by the founding partners with more than 70 years of collective experience in the retirement plan industry.  The solid reputation built over the course of our careers is evident by the rapid growth of the company in the last seven years.  M2B is committed to providing the highest level of quality work and customer service to our clients and referral partners, and we’re looking to add an experienced manager to join our defined contributions team!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all applicable compliance testing (including ADP, ACP, 410(b), 401(a)(4), top-heavy) and administer retirement plans in accordance with ERISA
  • Consult with clients and recommend possible plan design changes
  • Work directly with business owners, financial advisors, and other professionals to address questions/resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare contribution calculations, non-discrimination testing and prepare IRS Form 5500
  • Provide periodic valuations and contribution calculations
  • Support auditors for large plan audits
  • Understand and interpret defined contribution plan documents
  • Assist with oversight/review of administration prepared by junior Analysts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the retirement plan industry
  • Extensive background in qualified defined contribution plan administration, including ERISA and IRS/DOL rules and regulations
  • ASPPA credentials strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Ft. Williams compliance software is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
