The Description: The Finway Group is a Third-Party Administration (TPA) firm specializing in 401(k) plan administration, compliance, and consulting for retirement plans. Due to significant company growth, we are seeking a team member that has experience and knowledge in the 401(k) industry with a drive to leave corporate America.

The Experience: Are you familiar with ft William software, compliance, plan administration and have refined customer service skills in the retirement industry? The Finway Group may be a perfect fit for you!

The Why:

  • 100% of premiums covered for employee health, dental, life, short term disability, and $1,200 HSA contribution per year
  • 3% company contribution to 401(k) and Cash Balance plan
  • 15 days PTO with increasing amount with tenure and 6 paid holidays
  • Remote location can be offered if not in the Des Moines area

The Responsibilities:             

  • Perform annual testing of ADP/ACP, coverage, top heavy, etc
  • Prepare and analyze data for use in annual valuations and plan administration
  • Preparation and filing of Form 5500 including trust accounting and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with DOL and IRS requirements
  • Plan design consulting

The Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration of defined contribution plans
  • Experience with ft william software in both compliance and 5500 modules required
  • Experience with PensionPro preferred
  • Exceptional customer service skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with PEPs a plus         
  • Strong attention to detail, file compliance, and accuracy
