Our goal as a third-party administrator is to take the confusion and frustration out of retirement plans and to provide the consulting and technical expertise to empower employers to make good decisions.

MGKS is searching for a high energy, self-driven individual looking for a career in a dynamic, fast moving organization. We are seeking an experienced manager for our Defined Contribution team. As a manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our success. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day operations of 401(k) plan administration, ensuring accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of administrators, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Assist in continuing to develop and implement streamlined procedures to enhance the efficiency of administration and the team.
  • Assist in managing the operation of the firm either on site or remote. Should candidate prefer a fully remote schedule, prior management experience in a remote environment is a must.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, advisors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries, resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in 401(k) plan administration.
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or comparable professional work experience.
  • In depth knowledge of retirement plan regulations, compliance and 5500 filings, and industry best practices.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. Prior management experience a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Technology and computer proficiency in Microsoft Office. ASC, FT Williams, and PensionPro experience is a bonus.
  • ASPPA or NIPA designations are required.

Salary: From $43.00 per hour
