Supervisor, Conversion Team 

We are currently seeking a Supervisor, Conversion Team to join our team. 

This position is responsible for supervising the Conversion Team, the 401(k) implementation process for Workforce Optimization (WO) clients, and the conversion process of qualified plans to Retirement Services (RS).


  • Supervises the implementation process for WO clients into the Insperity 401(k) Plan and the conversion process of qualified plans to RS in accordance with the established procedures/processes, and the department’s business objectives and standards.
  • Manages the ongoing development of implementation business standards.
  • Supervises, recruits, trains, coaches and completes performance evaluations for the Conversion Team.
  • Reviews all plan documentation for clients transferring into the Insperity 401(k) Plan to ensure that the plan is in compliance with all regulatory requirements and meets RS business objectives and standards.
  • Reviews exceptions to standard business parameters to ensure adherence to approval process.
  • Completes the due diligence review process for all Insperity clients to determine whether or not RS will allow the client to adopt the Insperity 401(k) plan.
  • Evaluates client changes as a result of mergers and acquisitions to determine whether or not an existing RS client can continue to co-sponsor the Insperity 401(k) Plan.
  • Oversees the timely and accurate setup of new plans and mergers into current plans. 
  • Implements and maintains efficient processes and procedures to support new DefCon enhancements as well as other systems enhancements which may impact implementation or conversion activities. 
  • Completes the setup and ongoing management of client pricing and implementation related billing in the NetSuite client management system.
  • Recommends, implements, and tests new enhancements to DefCon and NetSuite to support business needs and objectives.
  • Resolves escalated operational and inquiry calls from clients, Sales, RS personnel, and other areas of the Company as it relates to implementation and conversion activity. 
  • Reports implementation and conversion activity to the management team monthly.
  • Participates in the department’s leadership team, including efforts to effectively manage the department’s resources and to effect continuous improvement in the department’s performance.



  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred. 
  • Seven to ten years of experience in the retirement services field is required and plan conversion experience is preferred. Three or more years of successful management experience is preferred.
