Distribution Specialist

ERISA Services is looking to add a Distribution Specialist to our team.  We have a need in our Forceout team, our review team and our processing team.  These positions require experience in processing distributions, loans, hardships, RMD's and forceouts.  If you have experience in all these areas including working on them with all the major recordkeepers, please submit your resume.  We would love to talk to you about our openings.  

Position summary:

This position is the secondary contact point for plan sponsors and is responsible for assisting their Teams Administrators in supporting their clients with administration of their plans. This position is also responsible for customer satisfaction and customer retention by providing professional, clear, accurate and timely plan administration.

General purpose:

Deliver Third Party Administrative services to retirement plan sponsors in compliance with all IRS and DOL regulations.

Role qualifications:

  • 1-3 years general office experience.
  • 5 years experience processing distributions in a TPA environment
  • Proficient MS Office and computer skills.
  • Proficient typing skills.
  • Ability to effectively multitask.
  • Ability to effectively receive direction. 
  • Must attend webinars to further education.
  • Communicates effectively with others.

Position responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and assist clients as needed.
  • Prepare and process Client loan packages and distributions.
  • Required Minimum Distributions and force outs
  • Client website access management
  • Update vesting file.
  • Any other task as requested by Team Administrator.

  • Strong organizational skills, both electronically and paper.
  • Exhibit initiative and being proactive.
  • Display discreetness, awareness and confidentiality of work.
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Valued but not required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
