We are currently seeking full-time 401(k) Plan Administrator to join our growing TPA firm. 

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package. This position can be either in-office or remote.  

The ideal candidate will:

  • Currently hold an active QKA Designation (or will pursue within 1st year)
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience with 401(k) retirement plans, preferably in a TPA environment
  • Have 1-2 years of accounting experience is a plus
  • Thrive in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
  • Work efficiently in a remote environment (if applicable)

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Provide superior customer service, including problem solving with minimal inconvenience to clients
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with team members and managers
  • Partner and communicate effectively with plan sponsors, attorneys, actuaries, and financial advisors
  • Be a resource for compliance research and recommendations
  • Stay current with ERISA laws through self-study and company-sponsored training sessions
  • Run annual compliance tests and deliver report packages timely
  • Partner with Sales on plan design questions/recommendations
  • Administer an assigned book of plans to include reviewing and reconciling plan activity and assets and prepare Form 5500; coordinate with plan sponsor to help ensure timely filing
  • Review plans for RMDs, calculate RMDs when needed
  • Ensure deadlines are met throughout the Plan Year
  • May manage special projects as assigned
  • Work independently with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe PDFs
  • Work independently with Relius, and PensionPro
  • Be a team player
  • Have knowledge and experience of various recordkeeping sites
  • Possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Possess good interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
  • Possess good reconciliation skills and strong problem-solving skills
  • Be capable of multi-tasking, while maintaining focus and attention to details

Benefits for Full-Time (Salaried- Exempt) Employees include a 401(k) Plan with 3% SH-NEC Employer contributions, a flexible time off policy, paid sick time, paid Holidays (NYSE Market Holidays), Company paid Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance, all in addition to Medical, Dental and Vision options. 

Annual Salary Range (based on experience): $55,000 - $80,000 plus Discretionary Bonus
