Bates & Company, Inc., a third party administrator for retirement plans, is looking for our next top notch team member. We are looking for a reliable, outgoing individual who's excited to take on new challenges and start the next chapter in their career. We are seeking an experienced candidate to take on the role of Distribution and Loans Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting, Review and Processing of all paper and electronic distribution, loan and QDRO requests
• Monitor a workflow database daily for new requests and requests which require additional quality control or follow-up with the recordkeeper, client or plan participant.
• Process the incoming requests timely, according to internal service standards.
• Plan document interpretation and application
• Determination of type of request and permissibility
• Effective communication with both internal and external plan contacts
• Working knowledge of distribution and loan processes and procedures with various recordkeepers, is preferred.
• Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and detail oriented to ensure proper quality control
