Who We Are and What We Do

Edberg Perry is a third-party administrator (TPA) that provides client companies with retirement plan design, administration, and ongoing consulting services to ensure our clients’ plans follow DOL, ERISA, IRS, and other regulations. Edberg Perry has been in the retirement industry for over 50 years in the Phoenix Arizona area.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Plan Consultant with one to two years of Plan Administration experience who can work independently, with limited supervision, while remaining responsive to clients and meeting all deadlines. We need an individual who relies on their plan knowledge to effectively communicate and manage the ongoing client relationship while working in a team environment.

What You Will Do

This position is a customer-focused role with an assigned book of business. You will be expected to interact with Plan Sponsors, Financial Advisors, CPA’s as well as the Edberg Perry team.

Requirements:

  • Required - Minimum one to two years’ experience as a DC Administrator
  • Experience with Administration software. ASC and Pension Pro is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, required.
  • A knowledge of current and historical ERISA law, with an expectation of ongoing learning and research.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Defined Benefit administration a plus.
  • Proficiency in analytical skills; functions with high level of attention to detail.
  • Understanding of and execution of basic organizational, problem solving, and prioritization skills

Job Duties:

  • Manage and meet Deadlines.
  • Address client issues/concerns in a timely manner.
  • Provide audit support as needed.
  • Perform RMD calculations.
  • Nondiscrimination testing, 5500 preparation, and contribution projections.
  • Identify and advise client on plan design issues.
  • Assist with plan documents.
  • Identify and correct errors such as late deferrals as needed.
  • Review work of other team members.
  • Ability to accurately enter and manage sensitive member data and manage the confidentiality of employee’s records.

 

    EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Credentials with a nationally recognized organization (ASPPA or NIPA) or working towards.

    Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary $50,000 - $65,000
  • Medical, dental, disability, and life insurance
  • Paid time off
