Our benefits division, U.S. Employee Benefits Services Group (USEBSG), provides an array of employee benefit solutions that include plan design, core and voluntary products, online enrollment, plan administration, third party administration, specialty health plans, and HR compliance through our Partner Firms.

USRBP is looking for a Licensed Benefits Call Center Associate for our Benefits Center located in Harrisburg, PA. https://www.usenrollmentservices.com/benefitscenter/

The Licensed Enrollment Services Associate is a reliable professional who will be responsible to answer incoming customer calls & make outbound calls, utilize company policies to solve customer issues, and provide record keeping and administration services for benefit plans & enrollments, and route calls to the managerial team, when necessary. The Benefits Center Associate is the first point of contact and must have a commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to provide detailed and accurate information.

Work Environment:

Duties are performed in an office environment with a call center atmosphere. In this position you may have interaction with plan participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors & administrators through calls, e-mails, and live chat sessions, in addition to interactions with internal company staff outside of the Harrisburg Enrollment Center. Must have the ability to work independently under minimal supervision in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

We can offer fully remote work arrangements. For those who prefer to work in-person with a talented and dynamic team, we offer on-site and hybrid scheduling options at our beautiful state-of-the-art office in Harrisburg, PA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming & make outbound calls and take appropriate action for each call depending on basis of the call and the needs of the plan participant, employee, etc.
  • Educate callers on their available benefits and assist in making informed benefits decisions.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction & meet call center metrics based on assignments.
  • Use company or client policies to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a customer issue or if issue requires managerial inclusion.
  • Input data into the various computer platforms as required by Company and Clients to keep each caller’s record updated.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule between the operating hours of 8am-8pm, Mondays through Fridays.

Requirements:

  • Life & Health insurance license required.
  • This position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment, or experience in retail banking, pension/retirement plan and/or benefits administration.
  • Ability to understand and calculate mathematical concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division-especially important for confirming payroll deductions for the client, e.g.) paid weekly, 52 times/year; bi-weekly, 26 times/year; monthly, 12 times/year; and semi-monthly, 24 times/year.
  • Strong computer skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, a high-level of professionalism, & strong problem-solving abilities are needed.
  • Reliable attendance record, professional voice tone and demeanor, and strong attention to detail accuracy is required.

Non-Essential, But Desired:

  • Bilingual in Spanish.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.50 per hour
